We know the importance of finding a sense of community within our larger company and encourage you explore both our Valor Associate Inclusion Network and our Military Spouse Network, formed under the Valor umbrella. Valor is a representation of all service branches, fostering camaraderie, networking, and community involvement. Our Military Spouse Network was created as part of Valor to connect military spouse associates and allies at Raymond James, including spouses of active-duty service members, reservists, retired or former service members, and anyone who identifies with our community as an ally – your presence is welcome when you have a desire to share, learn and connect!

How to get Involved

If you are a Raymond James associate:

  • Reach out to the RJ military spouse network to be added to our distribution list: militaryspousenetwork@raymondjames.com
  • Participate in one of our quarterly “Meet and Connect” sessions
  • Volunteer to participate in our “Military Spouse Ambassador” program to welcome new military spouses to the firm

Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP)

The Department of Defense MSEP connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses. Since its inception in 2011, MSEP has grown to include more than 850 employers and nonprofits, hiring more than 340,000 military spouses!

 

Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) Military Spouse

HOH recognizes that military spouses’ careers are impacted by their service members’ military service. That’s why every HOH event and program is open to military and veteran spouses as well as military caregivers.

 

 

Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO)

The DOD established the SECO program to provide education and career guidance to military spouses worldwide, offering comprehensive resources and tools related to career exploration, education, training and licensing, employment readiness and career connections.

ACT Now Education

We provide over 40,000 free resources for the military community. We provide support for active duty, veterans, reservists, the National Guard, military spouses, and dependents, in career planning, business development, job opportunities, certifications, apprenticeship, or transitioning from Military life.

Valor supports the recruitment and hiring of talented military spouses and Veterans. This includes participating in hiring events, promoting open positions, training and supporting recruiters as they review and assess incoming resumes, and supporting Raymond James’ role in the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (“MSEP”) program.
