To date, Raymond James has taken several key steps to engage with several military transition programs with unique national transition institutes created exclusively for military/ military spouse members of all branches. These programs exist to serve others so that their next mission is always clear and continues to impact the world. FREE Nationwide resources for Transitioning Veterans/Spouses

Raymond James has Raymond James Financial has established a referral program so that service members/ Veterans/ Military Spouses who are transitioning to the corporate world and seeking employment at Raymond James can now direct their resumes to our Militry Hiring rep. In order to source from this niche group, we have enhanced marketing and branding, partnered with a Veteran led employment facilitator, and increased community outreach and employer presence at Military/ Military Spouse career fairs. Knowing that these candidates would not only assimilate into our Culture, but would thrive,  we encourage anyone interested to send your resume to the RJ Military referrals inbox. 

Valor is a member of the Military Spouse Employment Program (MSEP) in collaboration with the Valor Military Spouse Network. MSEP is an employment and career partnership connecting military spouses with more than 390 partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses in portable careers. By joining the MSEP, RJ has become a part of an even larger collective effort to support military spouse employment. In addition to being a Partner, the firm was recently accepted into the Military Spouse Career Accelerator Pilot Program under the same parameters as a Hiring our Heroes Fellowship Program. America’s Warrior Partnership (AWP) is is a national nonprofit with a coordination platform that expands the reach of local partners by connecting them to national partners. Care Coalition at USSOCOM, assists transitioning wounded warriors from the SOF community. The U.S. Special Operations Command Warrior Care Program was established in 2005 to provide Special Operations Forces (SOF) Wounded, Ill, or Injured Service Members and their families advocacy after life changing events.  Whether you are returning operational status, moving into a different field or transitioning into veteran status, the USSOCOM Care Coalition will assist with a seamless transition to civilian life for continued medical care, benefits, and career opportunities​​. The Camaraderie Foundation partners with local business members to provide a leadership program to assist transitioning service members and spouses in preparing for a career in the local community. Their Mentor Leadership Program is actively seeking candidates and mentors. This program is at free for servicemembers/spouses/veterans.  This 8-month program consists of classroom, mentoring, networking, and community service events. At the end of the 8 months, Camaraderie offers the opportunity for graduate to participate in some of Florida’s best community leadership programs. The Honor Foundation (THF) is a unique transition institute created exclusively for Navy SEALs and the U.S. Special Operations community (regardless of Branch), as well as Military Spouses. With over 2,500 Special Operations personnel transitioning from the military every year, THF helps create the next generation of corporate and community leaders. With several campuses across the United States, THF provides a straightforward process for professional development with 15 weeks of structured curriculum, from exploring their WHY to establishing network connections.     American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping post 9/11 veterans transition to the private sector.  Mentors dedicate 12 hours of time across 12 months and assist veterans in their career development through mentorship, networking, and career guidance. The objective is to give back to the Veteran community and help combat underemployment, one veteran at a time, by engaging corporate leaders to provide career advice, mentoring, and networking opportunities to those who have served.     Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program (CFP) is a U.S. Chamber of Commerce 12 week program held 3 times a year in 17 locations around the country. The Hiring our Heroes Fellows program supports military service members and spouses with networking, professional training and hands-on experience in the civilian workforce as they transition to the private sector. Candidates are interviewed by host companies. Fellows complete on-the-job training with their host company (4 days a week).     ViableEdu /American Veterans Group, PBC “Armed for Finance” program which helps veterans gain industry knowledge and transition into the financial profession. The formal partnership between these two organization is to create Armed for Finance, an accelerated virtual education and training program for US veterans interested in joining the financial services industry. Their aim is to provide education, access and opportunity for our US service members. The 4-week program is 100% remote and completely free to all participants. ViableEdu was created to cultivate and inspire the future leaders of finance through technology and innovation.

    The Raymond James Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) ‘s 2-year program guides from licensing to learning the skills necessary to become an effective Financial Advisor. With a demonstrated track record of success with vets/spouses, the program allows supplementing earnings by qualifying for VRE or using GI Bill Benefits. AMP uses a holistic approach that incorporates distance learning, in-person curriculum, coaching/ mentoring from seasoned professionals to accelerate your success.  AMP has also partnered with Norwich University to provide an accredited Investment Management Professional Graduate Certificate, which allows military veterans to use the GI Bill to cover all costs.
