backpack bash
Get Involved: Backpack Bash 2026 is a community-wide back-to-school initiative hosted by The Bautista Project Inc., a veteran-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to ensuring every child begins the school year with the tools they need to succeed. Our goal is to provide 500 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students and families throughout the Tampa Bay area who may be experiencing financial hardship. This event brings together veterans, active-duty service members, local businesses, community organizations, and volunteers to invest in the next generation through service and collaboration. By removing financial barriers to education, Backpack Bash helps students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn while strengthening the bonds between the military and the communities we proudly serve. Through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and volunteers, every backpack distributed represents more than school supplies—it represents encouragement, opportunity, and belonging.
